From this work as well as generosity of DKG sisters in Louisiana-Epsilon State and Mississippi-Zeta State, more than $400 was collected for supplies for students in an entire school.
Individual teachers in neighboring parishes, including Ascension and Livingston, also received supplies from their wishlist.
In addition, students in an after-care program in Baton Rouge, Kids Orchestra, were able to use purchased supplies from donated funds for the paper orchestra.
